David’s largest project to date was to assemble one of the most impressive advisory teams drawn from leading business schools and commerce to assist a financial services giant in its demutualisation, flotation and growth strategy. The project spanned more than a year and involved the application of leading-edge academic thinking resulting in the creation of a successful organisation structure and a considerable reduction in corporate and business centre costs.
A further example of organisation design was the creation of an alliance of suppliers to the construction industry with the purpose of promoting off-site construction. Following its establishment, David then chaired and managed the alliance on behalf of the members for a period of around seven years.
